Understand and administer the HITT safety program across all subcontractors, including prompt reporting/investigation of accidents and incidents and assisting in safety inspections by outside agencies, with particular attention to occupied healthcare spaces, infection-control barriers, interim life-safety measures, egress, and utility shutdowns, including documented pre-task planning and daily safety engagement. Ensure complete, accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets, inspection records, photographs, as-built conditions, and shutdown logs; understand subcontractor scope of work to avoid unnecessary change orders; identify problems early given the complexity of healthcare systems and occupied-space coordination, and act immediately to provide solutions.
