This includes coordinating with kitchen and office staff to ensure proper and timely tray delivery, thorough and correct explanation of our menu options, ensuring all patients are fed during appropriate meal times, proper delivery of tube feeding and snacks as needed, assisting with tray set up and appropriately solving any patient issues that may arise. This includes following designated patient scripts, either in person or on the telephone, properly introducing yourself when entering a patient room with an explanation of your position, correctly explaining Bedside Bistro program to new admissions, reviewing patient menu selections as needed, and being able to explain menu items with suggestions as requested.
