Assist with personal care tasks and activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, oral hygiene, nail & skin care, shaving, dressing).Perform household tasks essential to health care and living at home (e.g., meal preparation/feeding, laundry, light housekeeping).Assists patients in taking medications under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Awareness that PRN caregivers often serve as substitutes for a client's regular caregiver is critical, as clients may be hesitant, nervous, frustrated, or uncomfortable with someone new in their home, or may have dementia, memory loss, behavioral challenges, behavioral challenges, mental health conditions, or past trauma.
