Job Title: Industrial Network & Electrical Technician Department: (IT Department) Location: Reedley, CA - (for Central California based candidates only) Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Industrial Network & Electrical Technician to support operations within our packing and production facilities. This role plays a key part in maintaining the infrastructure that keeps our packing lines, equipment, and systems running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electrical and networking concepts, be hands-on, and comfortable working in an active agricultural/industrial environment. Experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network cabling including Cat6, fiber optic, and trunk cables across packing lines and facility infrastructure </li><li>Perform structured cable management to ensure clean, safe, and organized installations </li><li>Assist with setup and troubleshooting of PLC communications and pack line systems</li><li>Work with and understand AC/DC voltage systems in an industrial environment </li><li>Apply basic electrical principles, including Ohm’s Law, when diagnosing issues </li><li>Support network and IT systems used in production (workstations, printers, scanners, etc.) </li><li>Follow detailed instructions, layouts, and build standards for installations </li><li>Work flexible shifts to support production schedules, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed </li><li>Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and IT teams to minimize downtime on packing lines </li><li>Assist with infrastructure projects such as running new lines, expanding networks, and upgrading equipment </li></ul> Qualifications Required:<ul><li>Basic understanding of: <ul style="list-style-type:circle"><li>AC/DC voltage </li><li>Ohm’s Law </li><li>Networking fundamentals </li></ul></li><li>Ability to follow directions and work independently </li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills </li><li>Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced production environment </li><li>Ability to work assigned shifts, including non-standard hours </li></ul> Preferred (but not required):<ul><li>Experience with: <ul style="list-style-type:circle"><li>PLC systems and industrial communications </li><li>Running and terminating Cat6 and fiber optic cabling </li><li>Industrial or agricultural production environments </li><li>Cable routing in large facilities or along production lines </li></ul></li></ul> What We Offer<ul><li>Hands-on training in industrial networking and electrical systems </li><li>Opportunity for growth into advanced technical roles </li><li>Real-world experience supporting large-scale packing and production operations </li></ul> Work Environment<ul><li>Active packing house / agricultural production facility</li><li>Work around moving equipment, conveyors, and pack lines </li><li>May require lifting, climbing ladders, or working in tight or elevated spaces </li><li>Use of lifts or equipment for overhead cable installation</li></ul> Pay Range (Min $18.50/hour to Max $22.00/hour) This position may encompass other duties than the specified duties listed above.  If necessary, alternative duties can be assigned at the discretion of the direct supervisor.  Powered by JazzHR
