In this role, you’ll not only provide comprehensive clinical evaluations, but also guide the flow of services, oversee non-clinical team members, and collaborate with community partners to ensure every person receives timely, person-centered care. As a Crisis Clinician (Internal Title: Triage Clinician Lead) at our Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC), you’ll be the primary point of assessment for individuals experiencing behavioral health or substance use crises.

<div><strong>Lead with compassion and expertise — join us as a Crisis Clinician and guide care for individuals in crisis when it matters most.<br/>Schedule: Weekends, 7 pm - 7:30 am<br/></strong><br/></div><div>As a <strong>Crisis Clinician</strong> (Internal Title:  <em>Triage Clinician Lead</em>) at our Behavioral Health Crisis Center (BHCC), you’ll be the primary point of assessment for individuals experiencing behavioral health or substance use crises. In this role, you’ll not only provide comprehensive clinical evaluations, but also guide the flow of services, oversee non-clinical team members, and collaborate with community partners to ensure every person receives timely, person-centered care.<br/><strong><br/>This is a great opportunity for someone who:</strong></div><ul><li>Thrives in a leadership role within a fast-paced, crisis care environment</li><li>Wants to directly support individuals in crisis while also mentoring team members</li><li>Values collaboration across disciplines, agencies, and community partners</li><li>Believes in holistic, person-centered care that prevents unnecessary hospitalization or law enforcement involvement</li></ul><div><br/></div><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Serve as the lead assessor for individuals presenting at the BHCC</li><li>Provide comprehensive assessments, intake documentation, and individualized discharge planning</li><li>Oversee and support non-clinical staff during assigned shifts</li><li>Direct the flow and referral processes to ensure timely, appropriate care</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, law enforcement, EMS, and community partners to coordinate services</li><li>Maintain accurate, professional documentation and records in compliance with regulations</li><li>Provide culturally responsive care that honors the unique needs of each individual</li><li>Offer virtual support to other BHCC or Youth Behavioral Health Urgent Care sites as needed</li></ul><p><b>Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</b></p><div>Bachelor’s degree in a human services field required<br/>Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology preferred<br/><br/></div><div><strong>WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS</strong><br/> Minimum of two years of experience working in Crisis Services if a bachelor’s degree is the highest level of education obtained<br/> or<br/> Must be a Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) as defined in 9 CSR 10-7.140 (2) (RR)<br/><br/></div><div><strong>LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION</strong><br/> If a licensed therapist, must have one of the following: PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT<br/> If a QAP, must have one of the following: CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP<br/><br/></div><div><strong>You’ll Be A Great Fit for This Role if You:</strong></div><ul><li>Bring calm, clear decision-making to high-pressure situations</li><li>Are confident in leading and mentoring team members while providing direct clinical care</li><li>Communicate with clarity and empathy across diverse groups, from patients to community partners</li><li>Believe in building bridges between care providers, law enforcement, and other agencies to best serve individuals in crisis</li><li>Are passionate about inspiring hope and promoting wellness through strength-based, person-centered care</li></ul><div>IND2</div>
