Overview: Servers Part Time RiverWoods is currently seeking a Weekend server to join our fun, creative, and talented culinary services team while providing excellent customer service to our residents. Insures adequate reagent supplies according to Laboratory and Section policies. Maintains a clean and orderly laboratory environment.</li><li>Performs technical, procedural and administrative problem solving.</li><li>Acts as technical resource to the Laboratory and all hospital employees, providing instruction on basic theory, technical skills and applications of test procedures. Assists the Section Supervisor in the evaluation of new procedures, installation of new instrumentation, and training on new or modified instrumentation or equipment. Writes technical procedures utilizing the CLSI format. Performs supervisory responsibilities indesignated laboratory section in the absence of the section supervisor, as assigned.</li><li>Trains and orients Medical Laboratory Scientists and Medical Laboratory Technicians, including students.</li><li>Must maintain technical competency in clinical areas based on shift and location.</li><li>Performs special projects and other related duties as required or assigned.
