NO weekends or Holidays!!</li><li>Employee-centric: Competitive pay, excellent benefits, tuition assistance, retirement plan matching, recognition program, local discounts.</li><li>Stability: Serving Erie and surrounding counties since 1876.</li></ul>What You Will Do:Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor or a Registered Pharmacist ‑ and according to the standard procedures ‑ compounds and readies for dispensing medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving orders from physicians or other qualified prescribers; maintains the drug inventory; maintains records; processes patient prescriptions and related orders and labels; inspects medication in the retail setting; and performs various other related duties.  Pharmacy technicians do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.<ul><li>Procures and distributes drug orders per physician request, pharmacist request or pre-arranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures and protocols, and within specified time frame.</li><li>Fills physician orders, medication surgical kits, medication carts, medication requisitions and specialty items/bins and delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas.</li><li>Prepares sterile products (including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition).</li><li>Assists in ordering, receiving, unpacking, rotating, and storing pharmaceuticals and supplies in appropriate locations.</li><li>Utilizes pre-packaging machine, Pyxis.</li><li>Performs monthly unit inspections of selected areas.</li><li>Utilizes billing and other technician service functions in the pharmacy computer system.</li><li>Generates reports, pick lists and labels as required.</li><li>Answers the telephone and requests at the window. </li></ul>What You Will Need: <ul><li>Current pharmacy technician certification required.</li><li>High School diploma, or equivalent. College courses desirable, but not required.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to organize work, have an attention to detail, and work under minimum supervision.</li><li>Must be proficient in mathematics, basic and advanced pharmacy calculations and display essential critical thinking skills.</li><li>Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.</li><li>Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license and insurable under Firelands auto policy. You observe residents' behavior and functioning, monitor progress on treatment plans, and communicate with appropriate team members, while also offering encouragement of the residents to be involved in their own treatment. Make a difference in your local community by working with individuals that have a primary mental health diagnosis and/or co-occurring disorders. You will be part of a versatile team that will implement client treatment plans that are established for each resident. Under guidance of the Residential Manager, you will oversee the direct care of the residents during designated working hours. You will work with clients who are admitted on an emergency status to reduce their level of distress and stabilize the crisis situation. You oversee the cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and personal hygiene skills of residents, and oversee the residents in taking their medications. You observe residents' behavior and functioning, monitor progress on treatment plans, and communicate with appropriate team members, while also offering encouragement of the residents to be involved in their own treatment. You understand the need to be a positive role model for the residents and provide ongoing guidance with the use of motivational interviewing. Work in cooperation with other providers, family members, or significant others involved in the residents' recovery plan. Facilitate programming using evidence-based behavioral management techniques. You have: <ul><li>HSD/GED</li><li>A valid driver's license and car insurance</li><li>CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain one</li><li>Ability to regularly use various computer apps including Microsoft Office, our HRIS, EHR and other online systems, with multiple logins often simultaneously.</li><li>Willingness to submit background check and fingerprinting</li></ul> Preferably: <ul><li>Experience working in a residential environment</li><li>A knowledge base of psychological disorders and related behaviors</li><li>Experience de-escalating situations</li></ul> Who are we?
