Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:<ul><li>Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.</li><li>Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.</li><li>Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.</li><li>Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to control access, assist with directional support, and address security-related concerns with professionalism and courtesy.</li><li>Support staff and visitors during routine operations and urgent situations by communicating clearly, following post orders, and coordinating with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed.</li></ul> Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.</li><li>Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.</li><li>Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.</li><li>Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.</li><li>Be at least 21 years of age.</li><li>A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.</li><li>Have 2+ years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.</li><li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li><li>Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.</li><li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.</li><li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.</li><li>A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.</li></ul>Why Join Us:<ul><li>Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.</li><li>Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.</li><li>Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.</li><li>Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.</li></ul> Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
