If you are committed to providing top-notch security services while maintaining a professional demeanor, we invite you to apply and become an integral part of our dedicated team in the Dayton, OH area.General Duties:<ul><li>Secure facility and property through observation and inspections; monitor surveillance equipment; monitor access control points; permit or deny entry to premises.</li><li>Alert help by sounding facility alarms.</li><li>Prevent losses and damage; report irregularities; inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain trespassers.</li><li>Control traffic by directing drivers.</li><li>Write reports and maintain activity log; record observations, information, and surveillance activity; interview witnesses.</li><li>Ensure safety and security of the facility and personnel through access control and screening and divesting procedures</li><li>Conduct self in professional manner; lend credibility to client site; be courteous and uplifting; bring people together by being neutral and understanding of people from diverse background.</li><li>Comply with all legal requirements.</li><li>Contributes to team synergy by communicating, deconflicting, sharing ideas, and complementing efforts.</li><li>De-escalate volatile situations; Protect the most vulnerable from threats (physical and non-physical); Contribute to safe and secure work environment.</li><li>Project peace.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $16.00 per hourExpected hours: 8 – 29 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Holidays</li><li>Evening Shift</li><li>Night shift</li><li>On call</li><li>Weekends as needed</li><li>Weekends only</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Security: 1 years (Required) 2-3 years (Preferred)</li><li>Customer service: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Military or Law Enforcement: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driver's License (Required)</li></ul>Additional Requirements:<ul><li>Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Dayton, OH (Montgomery County) (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Dayton, OH (Montgomery County): Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person</div></div><div>This position is based out of Dayton, OH and will report to Sahara Global Security personnel located at our Dayton Field Office (DFO).
