With your commitment to safety, you’ll control or entrances and metal detectors, checking everything from guests’ bags to employee badges. You’ll protect our team and our property – all while securing valuable law experience and rewarding benefits. Pay Starting at $16.00/Hour Responsibilities:<ul><li>Interact with guests providing directions and assistance</li><li>Protect employees, guests, and company property</li><li>Control park access, checking vehicle permits and scanning ID badges for team members, vendors, and contractors</li><li>Keep unauthorized personnel out of restricted areas</li><li>Greet and screen entering through metal detection and check their bags for prohibited items</li><li>Monitor all areas for safety hazards, including fire, theft, and vandalism</li><li>Write detailed reports of damage, incident logs, and security records</li><li>Apprehend violators, including on-foot pursuits when necessary</li><li>Escort guests and team members as needed for assistance and protection</li><li>­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies</li><li>Assisting in other areas of the Security Department</li></ul>Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned Qualifications:<ul><li>Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters</li><li>Professional demeanor and ability to interact in a positive manner</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Cautious and reliable nature</li><li>Ability to remain calm in emergency situations</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Commitment to a safe environment</li><li>Must be 16 years or older</li><li>Able to lift, carry, and balance heavy loads</li><li>Physical qualifications to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift</li><li>Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language</li><li>Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.</li></ul>--s-p-m1--Powered by SonicJobs (an advertiser on Monster). Part-time instructors are able to choose their own schedule and teach as much or as little as they want.As a Part-Time Instructor you'll teach life-saving Driver Safety Course curriculum to a variety of motorists including those that may be state or court required to attend a mandatory driver retraining program.
