As a Behavior Technician/ Registered Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder, providing ABA therapy, whether it be from a patient's home, school, or in the community. We believe in creating a positive and supportive environment in which our clients and employees can thrive.POSITION DETAILSAs a Behavior Technician/ Registered Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder, providing ABA therapy, whether it be from a patient's home, school, or in the community.As a Behavior Technician, you will:<ul><li>Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in the home and community environments</li><li>Follow an individualized treatment plan tailormade by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address and improve deficits</li><li>Implement behavior plans created by the BCBA</li><li>Collect data through observation and submit detailed session notes</li><li>Participate in training and team meetings</li><li>Collaborate with supervisors and peers</li></ul>Some of the areas you will address with your client may include:<ul><li>Language acquisition</li><li>Functional communication training</li><li>Social skills training</li><li>Daily living skills</li><li>Decreasing maladaptive behaviors</li><li>Community safety skills</li><li>Toilet training</li><li>Executive function training</li></ul>REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Must have experience working as a BT or RBT in Applied Behavior Analysis</li><li>Minimum educational requirement of a High School Diploma (or equivalent)</li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li><li>Effective communication skills both verbal and written</li><li>Strong work ethic</li><li>Ability to obtain required certifications and training (i.e. First Aid)</li><li>Reliable transportation with a current and clear driver's license</li><li>Ability to pass a criminal background check including FBI and child abuse clearances</li></ul>APPLY NOW At Connect n Care, we only want to hire people who care about changing lives as much as we do.
