Important Details:<ul><li>Contract-to-hire position </li><li>Pay rate range: $30 - $50/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.</li><li>Start date: As soon as possible</li><li>Work schedule: Monday through Friday, standard business hours (40 hrs/wk)</li><li>Work location: Onsite at our client's office in Foley, AL 36535</li><li>Weekly pay</li><li>Benefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, etc.)</li><li>401k after 30 days</li><li>Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check</li></ul> Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop mechanical and structural design packages from concept through construction and installation</li><li>Produce fabrication-ready drawings including dimensions, tolerances, weld symbols, material specifications, and notes</li><li>Incorporate field measurements, existing/as-built conditions, and constructability considerations into all designs</li><li>Support layout development and equipment integration in active industrial operating environments</li><li>Coordinate directly with engineers, fabricators, and site personnel to resolve design, installation, and fit-up issues</li><li>Participate in site visits, field verification, and construction/start-up support as required</li><li>Contribute to internal design standards, quality assurance practices, and continuous improvement initiatives</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with industrial mechanical design; experience in the steel or aluminum industries is strongly preferred</li><li>Working knowledge of fabrication practices, welding standards, and industrial materials</li><li>Proficiency with mechanical design and drafting software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks</li><li>Ability to develop clear, well-organized drawing packages suitable for fabrication and installation</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with engineers, contractors, and plant personnel</li><li>Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a small-team, high-responsibility environment</li></ul> System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
