The employee must be able to perform tasks involving physical labor, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials, tools, or equipment. We are seeking experienced TIG welders to perform a wide range of welding tasks on stainless steel and aluminum alloys. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.

<h5>TIG Welder Position </h5><p>Join our team in Naples, FL, a city known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant arts scene, and excellent quality of life. We are seeking experienced TIG welders to perform a wide range of welding tasks on stainless steel and aluminum alloys. This role requires a high degree of precision and an artistic approach to welding. </p><h5>Responsibilities </h5><ul><li>Perform routine to complex manual welds using various process methods and equipment. </li><li>Work with stainless steel and aluminum alloys in fabricating or repairing parts and products. </li><li>Execute approved welding techniques to meet engineering specifications. </li><li>Participate in new product development or work with experimental materials under engineering guidance. </li><li>Support lean manufacturing concepts and methods for efficient product flow. </li><li>Read and interpret product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements. </li><li>Adjust processes to achieve product conformance within procedural limits. </li><li>Assist and train other employees as needed. </li><li>Perform full set-up and maintenance to ensure quality and repeatability. </li><li>Maintain a high level of performance while following safety rules and procedures. </li><li>Document and log all parts accurately and maintain required paperwork. </li><li>Maintain a high level of welding quality and analyze defects for correction. </li><li>Implement lean initiatives by identifying areas for improvement. </li><li>Maintain an organized, clean, and FOD-free work area. </li><li>Obtain and maintain all required qualifications and certifications. </li><li>Inspect and process work performed, detecting and correcting defects. </li><li>Observe all company policies, including safety rules. </li></ul><h5>Qualifications </h5><ul><li>Experience with AWS D17.1, GTAW, and/or TIG welding. </li><li>Proficiency in welding stainless steel and aluminum, with an artistic approach. </li><li>Experience with automotive or motorcycle intake manifolds is preferred. </li><li>Ability to perform continuous GTAW welds over a 6-inch span. </li><li>Capability to pass a weld test, including 1G stainless and aluminum tests, and 2F fillet tests. </li><li>Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. </li><li>Exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. </li><li>Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. </li></ul><h5>Shift Details </h5><ul><li>1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM </li><li>2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM </li><li>Swing Shift: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM </li></ul><p>Relocation assistance is provided for this position. </p><p>Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
