<div>Advanced Suspension Design is seeking a skilled <strong>Gear Installer and Suspension Fabricator</strong> to join our team. This position involves precision differential setup, suspension system installation, and fabrication work on off-road and performance vehicles. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience with drivetrain and suspension systems.<br/><br/></div><div>This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building high-performance vehicles, solving mechanical challenges, and working in a hands-on shop environment.<br/><br/><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><div><strong>Differential & Drivetrain Work.</strong></div><ul><li>Install and set up <strong>ring and pinion gears</strong> in various axle assemblies (Dana, Ford, GM, etc.).</li><li>Set proper <strong>pinion depth, backlash, and gear pattern.</strong></li><li>Install lockers, limited slips, and differential carriers.</li><li>Rebuild axle assemblies including bearings, seals, and shims.</li><li>Diagnose gear noise and drivetrain issues.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Suspension Installation:</strong></div><ul><li>Install <strong>lift kits, shocks, coilovers, and steering components.</strong></li><li>Perform suspension upgrades on trucks, Jeeps, and off-road vehicles.</li><li>Align suspension geometry and verify proper clearances.</li><li>Install steering upgrades including track bars, drag links, and brackets.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Fabrication & Shop Work:</strong></div><ul><li>Fabricate suspension components, brackets, and mounts.</li><li>Operate fabrication equipment including:<ul><li>MIG/TIG welder</li><li>plasma cutter</li><li>band saw</li><li>grinders</li></ul></li><li>Perform frame modifications and custom suspension setups</li><li>Assist with building off-road vehicles and custom projects<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>General Shop Responsibilities</strong></div><ul><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace.</li><li>Document work performed and communicate with the team.</li><li>Inspect vehicles for safety and quality before delivery.</li><li>Assist with other shop projects when needed.</li></ul><div><strong><br/>Qualifications:</strong></div><div><strong>Required:</strong></div><ul><li>Experience installing <strong>differential gears.</strong></li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge of <strong>axles, suspension, and steering systems.</strong></li><li>Ability to read gear patterns and properly shim differentials.</li><li>Welding and fabrication experience.</li><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment.</li><li>Valid driver’s license.</li><li>Must have own tools.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Preferred;</strong></div><ul><li>Experience with <strong>Dana 30/44/60, Ford 8.8, GM 10-bolt/14-bolt.</strong></li><li>Experience installing <strong>lockers, ARB air lockers, or LSD units.</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>off-road suspension systems and coilovers.</strong></li><li>Off-road / racing background.</li></ul><div><strong><br/>Skills:</strong></div><ul><li>Precision measurement and setup.</li><li>Mechanical troubleshooting.</li><li>Fabrication and welding.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br/><br/></li></ul><div><strong>Compensation:</strong></div><ul><li>Competitive pay based on experience.</li><li>Paid Time Off.</li><li>Shop discounts.</li><li>Company-matched retirement savings.</li></ul>
