Responsibilities:
As a Wildlife Exclusion/Repair Service Technician at Critter Control, you perform hands-on exclusion, repair, and remediation services for residential and commercial properties. You identify entry points, complete structural repairs, and implement humane wildlife prevention solutions while following safety, technical, and quality guidelines. What Does a Day in the Life Look Like?<ul><li>Perform interior and exterior property inspections, including roofs, attics, crawlspaces, and other confined spaces, to identify wildlife entry points and potential vulnerabilities.</li><li>Install preventative exclusion materials such as screens, chimney caps, vent covers, and other barriers to prevent wildlife access.</li><li>Complete minor repairs to roofs, siding, foundations, and other structural areas where wildlife may gain entry.</li><li>Safely remove wildlife using humane trapping and relocation techniques in accordance with company standards and regulations.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of services performed, materials used, and customer interactions.</li><li>Provide clear, detailed reports and review completed scopes of work with customers.</li><li>Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.</li><li>Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction and address any additional concerns or recommendations.</li></ul> What type of benefits will you receive?<ul><li>Competitive hourly rate + production commission (Hourly Range: $16 - $16)</li><li>Estimated Hourly + Commission: $20-$25 an hour - Estimated annual earnings: $45,000 - $60,000. </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.</li><li>401k with generous match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).</li><li>6 Paid Holidays Annually!</li><li>PTO accrual based on tenure - 3 weeks beginning first full year!</li><li>Tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year (federal max!) Qualifications:
What do you need to be successful?<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus</li><li>Valid driver’s license</li><li>Proven experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or other related fields</li><li>Ability to work in the field independently</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>Proficiency in using several types of software and applications</li></ul> What does the work environment look like?We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.<ul><li>Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories.</li><li>Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas.</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.).</li><li>Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely.</li><li>Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently.</li><li>Capability to carry and use equipment necessary for inspections and minor control measures (Traps, ladders, inspection tools, etc).</li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.</li><li>Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.</li></ul> Join us in making a positive impact on nuisance wildlife management and become a part of our dedicated team today! Critter Control Operations is an equal opportunity employer.
