Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational, recreational, or childcare setting Passion for art, creativity, and early childhood development Ability to manage small groups of children in a structured, playful setting Background in art education, early childhood education, or a related field Experience teaching art or creative classes to children Experience working with elementary-aged children (ages 5-12) Familiarity with play-based and child-centered learning approaches. Plan and lead developmentally appropriate art activities for preschool-aged children Support creativity, self-expression, and fine motor skill development Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Prepare lesson plans, materials, and classroom setup/cleanup Communicate professionally with ARC staff, site supervisors, and caregivers as needed Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
