The role of the Parent Educator is to work with and support family members and caregivers in children’s lives, while ensuring all services provided are culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate for the population to be served; while following the policies and procedures of The Parents As Teachers Early Intervention Program. They will also conduct family centered assessments and goal setting with the families, develop and deliver monthly Group Connections, connect families to outside resource and referrals, and provide coordination and advocacy for services needed to assist families in working towards their goals.
