We value collaborative leadership, hands-on execution, and accountability to maintain reliable plant infrastructure and support business continuity.What You Will Do<ul><li> Applying economic thinking, prioritize and deliver maintenance and facilities initiatives - centered on automation and transformation - to measurably improve reliability, safety, and overall site P&L performance. </li><li> Lead, coach and develop maintenance leaders by modeling Principle-Based Management (PBM) behaviors; coach leaders to apply PBM in decision-making, talent development and problem-solving, set clear PBM expectations, and hold leaders accountable to those expectations. </li><li> D evelop and execute a proactive maintenance strategy (preventive, predictive, condition-based) to maximize equipment availability and drive the shift from reactive to proactive maintenance. </li><li>Plan, scope and deliver capital and facility improvement projects: prepare designs/layouts/drawings, bills of materials, and manage contractor selection and contract administration.</li><li>Continually evaluate utility, building, structural, and infrastructure needs; propose and implement projects to maintain site integrity and efficiency.</li><li>Ensure a safe work environment and excellent housekeeping; maintain compliance with environmental, quality, fire, and life-safety systems.</li><li>Lead Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives with Operations and Engineering; participate in Process Design Reviews and FMEAs.</li><li>Support emergency response, business continuity planning, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, Quality, Purchasing and Regional Engineering.</li></ul>Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) <ul><li> Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Facilities/Industrial Engineering, Construction/ Business Management or related field; or equivalent experience </li><li> 8+ years progressive experience in industrial facilities/utilities and maintenance; 3+ years supervising managers or multi-discipline teams. </li><li> Demonstrated experience applying economic thinking prioritizing and delivering maintenance and facilities capital and expense initiatives. </li><li> Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance and facilities programs - proficient with CMMS and responsible for building systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air, steam, plumbing, fire suppression) with a proven track record of contractor selection/management, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and delivering measurable reliability and cost-performance improvements </li></ul>What Will Put You Ahead <ul><li> Lean Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt), RCM training, or similar continuous improvement credentials. </li><li> Experience in stamping, metal forming, or heavy manufacturing environments. </li><li> Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management experience. </li></ul>At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs. Relocation assistance may be available in accordance with Oracle's relocation policiesKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the onsite mechanical facilities technician team responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service execution for mission-critical cooling and HVAC systems.</li><li>Serve as the direct manager for Mechanical Facilities Technicians, providing day-to-day leadership, work prioritization, coaching, performance management, and development.</li><li>Build and lead an in-house self-perform maintenance program for mechanical systems, including planning, training, execution standards, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Oversee maintenance and service execution for large-scale mechanical and cooling infrastructure, including chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, piping systems, and associated controls interfaces.</li><li>Manage vendors, contractors, and internal service teams, enforcing SLAs, workmanship standards, response expectations, and safe execution practices.</li><li>Track system health, equipment reliability, energy performance, maintenance effectiveness, and service execution metrics, using data to improve uptime and reduce repeat failures.</li><li>Own mechanical safety programs, regulatory compliance, and technician training related to maintenance execution, refrigerant handling, contractor oversight, and safe work practices.</li><li>Support incident response, service restoration, capacity changes, maintenance planning, and post-event reviews to strengthen reliability and execution discipline.</li><li>Partner closely with Facility Managers, Engineering, Reliability, Controls, Construction, and Commissioning teams to ensure effective handoffs, operational readiness, and maintainability of installed systems.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in maintenance procedures, spare parts readiness, documentation quality, technician capability, and service response standards.</li><li>Ensure the site is prepared to support 24/7 mission-critical operations through proper staffing, escalation readiness, training, and maintenance planning.</li></ul>Ideal Candidate Profile<ul><li>3–5+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical service, critical facilities maintenance, or related uptime-critical environments such as data centers, healthcare, industrial plants, semiconductor, or large commercial infrastructure.</li><li>1–3+ years of experience leading technicians, service teams, or field maintenance operations.</li><li>Strong practical understanding of large-scale cooling systems, HVAC service operations, controls interfaces, redundancy strategies, and energy-performance considerations.</li><li>Experience managing maintenance execution, vendor performance, technician development, and incident response in operational environments.</li><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC technology, facilities management, or related field preferred; equivalent technical and field leadership experience also valued.</li></ul>Skills and Competencies<ul><li>Strong crisis management and service leadership in high-availability environments.</li><li>Proven ability to improve maintenance quality, service reliability, and execution discipline.</li><li>Strong people leadership with the ability to develop technicians and reinforce accountability.</li><li>Clear communicator who can coordinate across operations, engineering, and vendor teams.</li><li>Strong operational judgment and ability to prioritize in time-sensitive situations.</li></ul>Preferred Skills / Certifications<ul><li>Experience with mission-critical cooling infrastructure including chillers, CRAH/CRAC systems, pumps, cooling towers, heat exchangers, valves, and mechanical distribution systems.</li><li>Familiarity with BMS/controls integration, alarm response, trend analysis, and service coordination with automation teams.</li><li>Experience with preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, CMMS systems, energy optimization, and service KPI tracking.</li><li>EPA Section 608 Certification preferred where refrigerant-handling responsibilities apply.</li><li>HVAC trade license or mechanical certification where applicable.</li><li>OEM training or manufacturer certifications related to chillers, cooling systems, controls platforms, or critical mechanical equipment preferred.</li><li>OSHA 30 preferred.</li></ul>Physical Demands / Work EnvironmentThis is a mission-critical onsite role supporting 24/7 operations where continuous uptime is essential; as such, regular attendance, schedule flexibility, and response readiness are required. To perform these duties, you must be able to frequently walk, bend, kneel, crouch, push/pull objects, and climb stairs. You may be required to lift or move up to 39 pounds independently and participate in group lifts for loads 40 pounds or greater.
