Keep reading.</div>The CDL Shuttle Driver, under the general supervision of the Shuttle Supervisor, provides safe and courteous and on-time transportation to resort guests and staff to and from fixed shuttle stops both on resort and off, during a scheduled shift.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)<ul><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must be able to communicate by radio and/or cell telephone.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must be able to provide verbal and/or written reports and respond to operational issues per prescribed policy.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must have a clean driving record and a valid Vermont Commercial Driver License, Class C with a Passenger Endorsement.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Drivers are subject to random DOT drug and alcohol testing and must have a valid license and DOT medical examiners card at the time of hire.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must undergo and successfully pass an annual DOT medical examination.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must be able to perform pre-and-post-trip vehicle inspections, cleaning and servicing to assist in maintaining vehicles in a safe operating condition.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must be able to follow an on demand schedule of pick-ups and drop-offs on resort as well as at transportation hubs and terminals.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must follow a schedule of pick-ups and drop-offs at on resort designated stops as well as all guest hotel, condominium, town home or cottage locations as well as off resort locations designated for employee pick-up and drop off.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must adhere to traffic regulations, collect fares and provide verbal information to the public regarding routes, schedules and transfer points.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must be willing to greet every customer in a friendly, professional manner.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must have or be willing to develop a working knowledge of the history and amenities Jay Peak Resort and regional points of interest in the US and Canada.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must be flexible with work shifts/hours, including overtime, to service late departs and arrivals, peak volume periods, vacated shifts, and other emergency situations.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must follow all Jay Peak, Inc. work rules and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook and through management’s instruction.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must be willing to listen to customer complaints and direct information to the Shuttle Supervisor.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must provide, maintain and ensure complete customer service for the all guests and staff members utilizing the service.</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">May be asked to perform any additional duties and special tasks as assigned</li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">In the absence of the Shuttle Supervisor, all drivers report to the Security Supervisor on duty.</li></ul>SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS<ul><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must possess or obtain a VT Class C Operator License with Passenger Endorsement </li><li class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left:16px">Must possess or obtain a Valid Operator Medical Card per DOT Regulations </li></ul><div style="border-bottom:solid 1pt;padding:0in 0in 1pt 0in"></div>WHY WORK AT JAY PEAK?
