Penn State's B.S.N. degree is offered through the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at University Park, and at Behrend the program is situated within the School of Science. As one of the most comprehensive nursing colleges among public universities nationwide, the Nese College of Nursing serves over 2,100 undergraduate and 200 graduate students. Opportunity to include fall, spring, and/or summer instruction.Provide coordination and instruction in medical-surgical nursing in various healthcare settings which could include the simulation lab, acute care, and long-term care facilities.Advise students, participate in college and university committees, and engage in service and scholarship as appropriate.QUALIFICATIONSDoctoral preparation (e.g., DNP, PhD) is preferred.Candidates with a doctorate will be considered for the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor or higher, depending on credentials.Candidates with a master's degree in nursing will also be considered and hired at the rank of Instructor.
