You will work on client engagements like those assigned to our entry-level associates, gaining exposure to a variety of industries and testing out your technical know-how. You will work alongside our senior staff and management personnel, learning from their experience as you develop your skillset.Internships are available in insurance assurance practice full-time. This winter semester internships run from early-January through early-May.How you will contribute:<ul><li>Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets</li><li>Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data</li><li>Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report</li><li>Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers</li></ul>We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:<ul><li>Solid technical accounting knowledge</li><li>Effective time management</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Strong computer skills preferred, including Microsoft Office suite</li><li>Ability to work well with a team as well as independently</li><li>Problem-solving attitude</li><li>Willingness to take initiative</li><li>Close attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines.</li><li>Intern candidates must be working toward an accounting degree and CPA licensure eligibility</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person.</li></ul>Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States. By leading a team of drivers, the Transportation Manager will maximize efficiency and growth of market collections while ensuring safety. Qualified Transportation Manager candidates will have 5 years of transportation experience, including at least 2 years of management experience.

We are growing and are looking for a talented Transportation Manager to join our team in Charlotte! The purpose of this position is to oversee textile collections for an assigned market. By leading a team of drivers, the Transportation Manager will maximize efficiency and growth of market collections while ensuring safety.Qualified Transportation Manager candidates will have 5 years of transportation experience, including at least 2 years of management experience.Responsibilities and duties:<ul><li>Own movement of donation boxes in assigned areas - replacement, placement, removals.</li><li>Assist in identifying field growth opportunities for donation stations and bins.</li><li>Oversight of fleet maintenance in addition to maintenance of donation boxes and trailers throughout the market.</li><li>Partner with Store Managers to ensure inventory needs are met.</li><li>Conduct routine truck inspections to meet DOT requirements.</li><li>Coordinate collection growth activities with Collections Manager.</li><li>Assist with interviews for Drivers and Donation Attendants.</li><li>Conduct quarterly Driver audit surveillance, Donation Attendant audits, and ride-alongs.</li><li>Use TMS and CRM regularly for gathering information and documenting updates.</li><li>Rerouting for efficiency as needed, based on market conditions.</li><li>Assist with launching drivers and receiving at stores.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Management experience in the transportation industry.</li><li>At least 25 years of age</li><li>Valid driver’s license.</li><li>Willing to submit to background check, drug screen and DOT physical.</li><li>Must be able lift up to 50 pounds regularly.</li><li>Regular bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling and climbing is required.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.</li><li>High level of diplomacy and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to perform physically demanding work in heat, cold and wet conditions.</li></ul>
