Responsibilities: • Handle office correspondence and administrative tasks such as responding to emails and phone calls, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, and letting the team know about upcoming deadlines • Schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, make travel arrangements, and coordinate with outside vendors for events • Accept other administrative tasks as needed to assist the team and ensure the firm runs smoothly • Use daily time records to properly process client billing with support from the accounting department • Conduct legal research, when necessary, with guidance from attorneys and paralegals • Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements for accuracy and completeness. Qualifications: • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times • Candidates should be able to type at least 50 words per minute • At least 1-2 years of previous experience in a law firm setting performing administrative tasks • Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products • Candidates must have worked with legal software, case management, and docketing programs Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly.
