This person will oversee all aspects of 5-10 projects per month including bidding out jobs, permitting work and ensuring everything is completed according to the project timeline. This person will drive to and work from different job sites scattered throughout the greater DMV Area area therefore you must live in Maryland, DC or Virginia. We do not have a corporate office to report into. We are seeking an Interior Designer with a strong eye for detail, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead projects from concept through installation. Core Job Duties<ul><li>Prepare for and attend kick-off meetings, obtaining all necessary information to complete the project according to the client directive and company standards</li><li>Collaborate with the Creative Director team, leveraging their feedback and guidance through the design process to ensure the best product is delivered and installed</li><li>Design model home projects as assigned by the leadership team, according to client directive and outlined parameters indicated by the leadership team</li><li>Attend and present project presentations with clients as requested or directed</li><li>Complete interior selections for model home projects, including but not limited to flooring, paint, lighting, countertops, cabinets, hardware, appliances, tile, and any other decorative materials, per the project scope and requirements</li><li>Complete all project drafting as required per company policy and as needed in collaboration with our drafting department to complete the finish schedule documents, providing the client with necessary and accurate information for construction and development.</li><li>Manage all assigned projects from kickoff to completion, meeting deadlines as assigned and communicating internally and externally in a timely and professional manner</li><li>Accurately record timesheet and expense report information as required by company policy</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Interior Design Degree, or a degree from related field</li><li>3 to 5 years of interior design experience, with experience in model home merchandising</li><li>Strong knowledge of AutoCAD</li><li>Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, including PowerPoint</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously</li></ul>Why This Opportunity Stands Out
