This position is contingent upon your ability to pass NACI investigation. This is a 100% remote opportunity. Serco supports the Air Force (AF) Civil Engineering (CE) community NexGen IT initiative’s implementation of IBM TRIRIGA is the largest in the world. Serco manages all aspects of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) for the NexGen IT program including requirements definition, development, testing, upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting and supports all infrastructure for the installations. You will be part of a large team that works closely with the customers, end users, and other Serco teams to deliver quality cloud engineering support, software, innovations, and administration tasks. The team has been recognized by the USAF and industry for their outstanding contributions to the program. In this role, you will: + Lead end-to-end migration from contractor-owned on-premises data center to the agency’s AWS cloud environment + Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-optimized AWS architectures (VPC, IAM, EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) + Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for repeatable, compliant deployments + Architect and integrate hybrid solutions for systems that remain on-premises (e.g., mailroom, legacy workflows) + Configure and validate network connectivity across environments (VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway) + Ensure all cloud solutions meet FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST 800-53 compliance standards + Implement monitoring, logging, and security controls (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Config, Inspector) + Manage identity and access management across platforms (Active Directory, SAML, IAM Federation) + Optimize application and database performance for .NET, Java, and SQL workloads within AWS + Produce detailed architecture diagrams, migration roadmaps, and operational runbooks for ongoing management + Collaborate closely with agency stakeholders, security, DevOps, and application development teams + Provide technical leadership and mentoring to cloud engineers and development teams + Demonstrate strong experience with both Linux and Windows environments and modern DevOps toolchains (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker) + Maintain excellent communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams + Preferred Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or equivalent) + Air Force contracting experience To be successful in this role you will have: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field + 15+ years of IT experience + 5+ years of AWS cloud experience + 5+ years of application development experience, technical leadership + Experience in architecting, designing and developing applications on the AWS platform or equivalent platform + Previous experience as Software/Solution Architect, Lead Architect, or similar role + The ability to travel up to 10% of the time If you are interested in supporting and working with our military and a passionate Serco team- then submit your application now for immediate consideration. Position Description & Qualifications The Army PPB BOS program is seeking a 100% Remote Information Specialist to lead documentation and knowledge management for software development teams. The candidate shall own the creation, organization, and maintenance of system documentation, knowledge bases that support developers, testers, and government stakeholders. In this role, you will: + Develop, maintain and continuously improve project documentation, including user guides, admin guides, test plans, release notes, SOP, user acceptance test cases + Work closely with developers, testers, and product owners to capture technical details and translate them into clear, accurate documentation + Design and maintain a structured knowledgebase to ensure project information is easy to find and traceable + Participate as a collaborative team member in Agile lifecycle and activities + Be expected to complete tasks in a fast-paced, results driven environment. To be successful in this role, you will have: + US citizenship + An Active DoD Secret clearance + A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant field + 3 years of documentation and knowledge management experience in supporting software development + Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining technical documentation + Experience organizing and managing large volumes of information, including developing logical structures, file/metadata file, etc. + Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to details and consistency + The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
