Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, liaise with DevOps and developers. Provides guidance, mentoring, and other assistance. Ensure requirements and design adherence to coding standards as well as University policy? Create and manage team and individual goals and provide regular feedback for team members. Conduct effective performance evaluations and mentor staff through formal and informal channels. This position functions with a high degree of autonomy and decision making.This leader will provide advanced problem solving and analysis for issues that are frequently without precedent or structure and that require the analysis of variable factors; this position will be responsible for formulating highly complex business analysis strategies, business processes, standardization, and resources. Tasks include all aspects of systems implementation from facilitation and analysis of complex business and user needs to advanced requirements gathering and creation of complex technical specifications, to implementation, deployment, and support of various highly complex systems. The position will lead efforts to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria that will obtain optimal results for the organization.This position will lead cross functional teams and will represent the business systems analysts' team in meetings with Development Supervisors, the User Experience Designer, and other team leads. Lead the Business Systems Analysts team and create tools and best practices for web application development and support. Work directly with the department Director on project and task priorities. Initiates, facilitates, implements and documents work process changes. Serve as a technical resource to project team and assists with problem and issue resolution. Acts as the primary liaison for operational planning related to requirements, workflow, testing, projects, and training. Acts as the primary liaison with development team leadership.
