The primary responsibility of the Assistant Attorney General will include handling parentage establishment, order establishment and child support enforcement services for the Division of Support Enforcement and Recovery (DSER) within the Office of Family Independence in the Department of Health and Human Services. Applicants must be members of the Maine Bar in good standing, who are experienced litigators, excellent writers, willing to travel regularly, able to develop proficiency with remote court proceedings, and have demonstrated that they conduct their professional work in a manner that is thorough, accurate, resourceful, collegial and effective.
