Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<br/>- Oversee multiple proposal projects and ensure strategic alignment with business goals. Manage proposal timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.<br/>- Develop high-level proposal strategies and win themes.<br/>- Manage relationships with key stakeholders and clients. Participate in client meetings and presentations to support proposal discussions.<br/>- Develop executive summaries and other key sections that highlight the company's strengths and capabilities.<br/>- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.<br/>- Lead and manage the proposal development process for high-value and complex projects.<br/>- Interpret and analyze request for proposals (RFPs), request for quotations (RFQs), and invitation for bids (IFBs) to determine requirements and strategy.<br/>- Conduct comprehensive research to gather relevant information and insights for proposal content.<br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, technical experts, and graphic designers to develop comprehensive proposals.<br/>- Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve proposal quality.<br/>- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance proposal strategies.<br/>- Maintain a library of proposal content and templates for future use.<p>- Serve as experienced information architect, designing and structuring content for complex customer-facing documents</p><p>- Serve as a resource for the writing team to implement deal specific structure. </p><p>- Serves as experienced backup to the project director - proposal writing. </p><p>Minimum Requirements </p><p>- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. </p><p>- 5+ years of Medicaid proposal writing experience within the required 7 years of professional experience.</p><p>- Ability to gather information from SMEs and translate complex technical/operational details into compelling, compliant proposal content.</p><p>- Strong interviewing skills to extract and clarify information from subject matter experts.</p><p>- Proven ability to produce original writing (not solely AI-assisted or library-based content).</p><p>- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven proposal environments.</p><p>- Experience drafting detailed solution approaches and converting technical information into client-facing, persuasive narrative.</p><p>- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously with short turnaround times.</p><p>- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and personalities.</p><p>- Resilience and comfort receiving frequent, direct feedback on writing.</p><p>- Broader experience across commercial health or other Health & Human Services programs is a plus.</p><p>#HumanServices #LI-Remote #maxcorp</p><p>EEO Statement <br/><br/> Maximus is an equal opportunity employer.
