Duties: Depending on the expertise of the incoming faculty member, may focus on the application of three possible areas, including: 1) clinical nutrition (Medical Nutrition Therapy I, Medical Nutrition Therapy II, Nutritional Genomics, Pharmacology, and Supplements), 2) food service management (Foodservice for a Diverse Population or Managing People, Budgets, and Problems in Food and Nutrition Settings), or 3) community nutrition (Culturally Sensitive Nutrition Counseling and Education, Dreams to Dollars: Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Grant Writing for Nutrition). CSULB is committed to serving diverse students and has established and actively supports the Black Excellence Collegium, dedicated to promoting Black excellence and advancing Black Student Success, and El Concilio for Latinx Success at the Beach, whose mission is to build capacity and promote inclusive servingness across initiatives and efforts for the benefit of all students.
