Summary: The KAC Youth Assistant delivers excellent service to all members and their children, supervises and nurtures children, tends to their basic emotional and physical needs, remains alert and engaged, communicates with parents, and helps children explore individual interests, develop talents and independence, build self-esteem, and learn how to get along with others. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear, required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
