Not only do these jobs align with your values, have an average salary over $50,000 a year based on data from PayScale, but also offer great growth potential according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Do you ever feel as though the land around you isn’t being properly utilized? If so, this may be a viable career path for you. As an urban planner, you’ll get to—as the job title suggests—develop plans for the use of land. You can create new gathering places for communities or rejuvenate existing facilities and areas just the same. On top of that, the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 13% job growth between 2016 and 2026.
