Pediatrics is a specialized field where nurses maybe taking care of a child for up to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Our nurses are trained one on one in the home so that they are familiar with your particular equipment, not just what they picked up in nursing school. We go to great lengths so that we can find the right nurse. Each family is afforded the opportunity to interview and spend time with the nurse assigned to the patient, however if the family is not completely happy with the fit then we will reassign another nurse to that particular family.
As part of this pediatric program nurses may accompany patient to school and develop flexible care plans around the particular child. Our goal is to have a happy child and a happy family.
