AHRC New York City

Every year throughout the five boroughs, AHRC New York City provides opportunities to more than 15,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages, and their families. The aim of AHRC NYC's work has been to offer individuals day-to-day living that is as rich, absorbing and rewarding as possible. From the beginning, AHRC, the organization that created the first schools, adult programs and community residences, has earned the reputation of being a leader in the field. AHRC NYC offers a wide array of programs, services and supports in the community from which individuals and families may choose according to their specific needs.
