Albany Charter School Network

The Albany Charter School Network provides academic and operational support services to a family of public charter schools in the City of Albany. The Network and the charter schools we serve work collaboratively with parents, partners and the community to help students succeed in learning and in life. We strive to achieve our goals by promoting Choice, Quality, Commitment and Growth in public education options for all students.

The Albany Charter School Network operates as a DBA of the Brighter Choice Foundation, which was founded originally to provide financial and other start-up assistance to public charter schools in Albany. Together, the Foundation and Network have helped launch and ensure the success of Albany’s charter schools, which have served nearly 20,000 students and families throughout the Capital District to date.
