In 1957, the two locations of the Electric Corporation of San Francisco became CONSOLIDATED ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTORS, INC. Since 1957, CED has grown into a nationwide sales/distribution network with nearly 600 locations nationwide. The CED management philosophy allows each manager to operate an independent business or “Profit Center” by remaining sensitive to local customers’ needs while still benefiting from the advantages afforded to a national distributor. CED’s policy of “Service, Integrity, and Reliability” is the driving force in every community served.
