Dallas Market Center (DMC) is where shop owners go to shop. The largest wholesale merchandise market in the world, DMC hosts some 50 tradeshow events each year, with leading manufacturers showing more than 37,000 product lines of apparel, garden accessories, gifts, gourmet food, home furnishings, and lighting to 200,000 retail buyers from all across the globe. DMC operates four buildings that house 2,000 permanent, custom showrooms, as well as temporary exhibit show space. There, it hosts fashion shows, product displays, educational programs and seminars, and industry award galas. DMC was founded in 1957 by Trammell Crow and is majority owned by CNL Financial affiliate CNL Lifestyle Properties.
