About Dalo Construction, Inc.

Dalo Construction, Inc. (DCI) was founded in 1974 by David Oyler and Lowell Denlinger, hence Dalo ("Da"ve / "Lo"well). In 1976 Lowell purchased David's share of the company. DCI became incorporated in 1984, with Mr. Denlinger being the owner until 1992. The first decade or so DCI served as an exemplary carpentry subcontractor doing the framing, interior and exterior trim on many residential homes in southwest Ohio around Dayton.

The second decade DCI began General Contracting custom homes along with the carpentry aspect of the business and entered commercial carpentry subcontracting as well. This evolved into General Contracting for smaller commercial projects such as tenant fit ups, etc.

In 1992 Lowell took on Rodney Peters as a partner in the company and together with their combined experience further evolved into a full service commercial General Contractor. DCI has worked, or is working, with national companies such as Bob Evans Restaurants/Mimi’s Café’s, Chick-fil-A, Culvers Restaurants, Dairy Queen, Burger King, McDonalds, Aldi Grocery Stores and AutoZone Auto Parts. Many other individual projects include doing work with multiple developers, retail outlets, DC’s (Distribution Centers), nursing homes, dentist offices, and more, working in many states across the US.

Lowell and Rodney have stepped out of the daily operations and are filling their time with other enjoyable things. Today the daily operations are managed by Mr. Denlinger’s two son in-laws, Rex Cottrell and Belden Bowman, along with Mr. Peter’s two sons, Craig Peters and Clint Peters. There are also grandchildren (Gen III) working in the company as well, keeping with a smaller to mid-size family operation culture.
