Founder Bob Ralston started the company in 1999 after a 20 year engineering career in electric utilities. Inspired by an early wireless project where he led the development and deployment of one of Oregon's first cellular mobile data applications used for electronic service order dispatch, Ralston launched Feeney Wireless. The company began with the single mission to solve customer problems by delivering on the promise of wireless technology. "We installed mobile computing systems for public safety and utility departments when the only technology available was radio frequency data communication" says Ralston. Using his background in public utilities, Ralston began working with utility organizations to architect cellular communications systems for SCADA, M2M, and service order dispatch applications.

With its engineering expertise, creativity, and foresight, Feeney Wireless has steadily grown into a national organization. Much of this success stems from Feeney's innovation as well as its emphasis on delivering outstanding customer service. "Our job is to help our clients improve their business" says Ralston, "and this can only be done by delivering excellent customer service and products that work."

Since its inception, Feeney Wireless has built a name for itself as a nationally recognized engineering company delivering M2M and mobile broadband solutions across industries. Principally located in Oregon, Feeney Wireless now has offices in California, Arizona, Hawaii, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Florida. The corporate headquarters in Eugene, Oregon is home to corporate administration, customer care, engineering, technical support and inside sales. Feeney operates out of two facilities - a dedicated office space for customer care and operations, and a 15,000 square foot manufacturing environment that supports research and development, new product development, and warehousing facilities for large scale deployments.
