Our gelato has been made in Torino, Italy since 1986, from recipes developed at Torino's first Michelin Star restaurant in the 1950s, Il Gatto Nero (The Black Cat). The same family that owned the Black Cat still own Menodiciotto, the manufacturing company where the gelato continues to be made today. GelARTo is the new brand for our gelato in the USA, and it's unmistakable taste and quality is as impressive today as it was 60 years ago. In the 12 months since GelARTo was introduced in the US, we have established an impressive distribution network to supply restaurants across the North East and recently introduced a range of gelARTo pints which can now be found in many supermarkets and online retailers. Our East Village store is the first of several planned new store openings, designed to promote the GelARTo brand and eventually become a franchise opportunity, making this first management position a great career opportunity for the right candidate.
