About Midwest Dairy Transport

The success of Midwest Direct Transport and Midwest Dairy Transport comes from its customers and the professional drivers who service the customers. Along with Midwest Direct Logistics and the majority of the company, growth has come by way of customer and driver referrals.

Midwest Direct Transport Inc. was formed in 2004. The company started with 7 trucks and over the years has grown to 75 trucks. These trucks serve the customers utilizing refrigerated and van trailers to transport dry goods, produce and frozen freight to all 48 states. The company provides LTL and freight brokerage services through its sister company Midwest Direct Logistics Inc.

Midwest Dairy Transport LLC was formed in 2009 with the intent of transporting milk from dairy farms to processing plants. The company started with 9 trucks and currently operates 60 trucks hauling raw milk, cream and brewer’s yeast in stainless steel tankers. The loads are delivered to various processing plants throughout the Midwest.

Midwest Dairy Transport and Midwest Direct Transport operate out of Coopersville MI and employ more than 234 people. The management team promotes a driver friendly environment and a strong culture of safety. The goal for our drivers is to not only succeed financially as a professional driver but also to succeed in their family life at home. This is accomplished by providing the driver the tools and training necessary to complete the task safely, assigning the driver loads suitable to fulfill their responsibilities at home and by investing in new equipment that is maintained in excellent operating condition.
