Newark Community Health Centers, Inc. (NCHC), a network of federally qualified health care centers, has been providing comprehensive primary care services to children and adults who reside in the City of Newark and surrounding communities for over 20 years. At NCHC, we define CARE as Compassion, Appreciation, Respect and Excellent service to patients and are committed to providing quality health care to individuals, regardless of their ability to pay. With seven health centers located in Newark, East Orange, Orange and Irvington, NCHC's goal is to meet the health care needs of the communities in which we serve and help people live stronger, healthier and happier lives.

The Newark Community Health Centers, Inc. (NCHC) has served as a health care resource for the prevention and amelioration of health disparities in Essex County, New Jersey since October 2, 1986. NCHC is one of the largest providers of comprehensive primary care services for the uninsured and medically underserved populations in the country's most densely populated cities.

Over the Past 20 years, Newark Community Health Centers, Inc. has grown and has added additional services, increasing the number of medical specialist to compliment the care for our growing population. NCHC has expanded its reach through Newark, East Orange, Orange, Irvington and the surrounding neighborhood cities. These cities possess a highly concentrated population of residents of African American and Latino decent, with a growing number immigrating from South And Central America as well as the Caribbean and Africa.
