Established in 1995 as a sister company to IC Verify, PayPros became a private enterprise the following year. Filling a crucial niche in the integrated payments market, the company addressed the complex problems experienced by point-of-sale (POS) software developers and the merchants using their products. At the time, the industry was notorious for allowing developers to “go it on their own” when integrating payment processing technologies into their applications, and minimal merchant support was common.
