PaR Marine

In December 2009, PaR Systems, Inc. subsidiary Jered LLC acquired Norfolk, Virginia-based company American Heavy Industries, Inc. The new entity is named PaR Marine Services, LLC and continues to service their existing customers along with Jered�s customers.

American Heavy Industries built a loyal customer base over the past 40 years in the Norfolk area by providing custom designed elevators as well as engineering, technical, and field service support for navy and commercial ships. With the acquisition of this existing service business that is adjacent to the largest naval base in the world, Jered will have more access and increased capacity to provide waterfront support for all product lines, including American Heavy Industry, Jered, NETEC, PaR, and Unidynamics.

Through the Houston, Texas operation, PaR Marine Services supports their offshore oil rig engineering and support business. This business continues to be a platform for international expansion as their reputation for quality becomes increasingly known throughout the offshore industry.
