PDOX Inc. is a specialized medical oncology diagnostic and translational science company. It was founded in 2016 to enable physicians to personalize their current therapy for patients suffering from aggressive cancers. The company’s patented technology enables individual cancer patients to bank and immortalize their tumors. This allows them to take advantage of future scientific advances in personalized therapy when they become available. Our patented technology develops individualized tumor mouse models for each patient. The tumor from the human patient is transplanted into the corresponding anatomic location (pancreas, liver, lung, leg, etc.) in mice. We call this process PDOX: Patient Derived Orthotopic Xenografts. Our research shows that concurrent testing of multiple drugs leveraging PDOX models will reduce the time required to select each patient’s optimal treatment. Additionally, PDOX will use its technology to provide pre-clinical research to Pharma and Biotech companies to evaluate the effectiveness of their new drugs.
