Started in 1995 by Dr. Adriane J. Collins (joined by Dr. Michael T. Gray), South Shore Infectious Disease Center has been providing specialized Infectious Disease care for Long Island residents for over 21 years.

With offices in Bay Shore and Syosset, South Shore Infectious Disease Center maintains close ties with our local communities. Our infectious disease specialistshave great relationships with Primary Care Physicians (PCP’s) across Long Island and coordinate with them to provide the best care to our patients.

Most infectious disease specialists generally work in a hospital and do not make themselves available to patients once they have left the hospital. South Shore Infectious Disease Center offers in-office outpatient services, including care and monitoring, after a patient has been discharged from the hospital. Furthermore, our infectious disease specialists are always available for patient follow-ups.
