Towne has been a WNY family-owned automotive establishment since 1969. Our first dealership, Towne Lincoln–Mercury, was started by Frank Downing in June 1969 in a small strip plaza in Orchard Park. Over the years we have had the opportunity to expand our franchise portfolio with Mazda, BMW, Ford and Jeep in the late 80’s, and later Chrysler, Used Cars, Hyundai, Isuzu, Dodge and MINI in the 90’s. We also added a Quick Lane Service Department for no appointment service needs. Most recently we welcomed Maserati and Chevrolet Buick Cadillac. Having 13 vehicle makes available in the Southtowns and Northtowns for customer convenience. Towne is very excited to announce their upcoming franchise additions 2016/2017 Alfa Romeo and BMW Motor Cycles in the Northtowns.

Under the leadership of Frank and David Downing, The Towne Automotive Group has remained a family operation and a successful business that is a second home to over 400 of Western New York’s best employees!
