Valley Medical Group is a medium sized, provider owned, group practice caring for more than 60,000 patients at four locations throughout the Pioneer Valley of Western MA. Our group includes a number of specialists such as: Endocrinology Rheumatology Physical Therapy Optometry Behavioral Health Podiatry Diabetes Management/Nutrition For more than 25 years, our physicians, health care professionals and staff have dedicated themselves to serving area residents. Beginning as a small group based in Amherst, we joined Kaiser Permanente in the early 1980’s to become the Permanente Medical Group of Massachusetts and then became Valley Medical Group when Kaiser left the northeast in 2000. We maintained many of the Kaiser Permanente “traditions” including a focus on prevention, health maintenance and chronic disease management, population health, evidence-based medicine, and practitioner ownership. Our four Health Centers are in Amherst, Easthampton, Northampton, and Greenfield. Each of our Health Centers has a full range of services in each building.
