At Med-Scribe, Inc., were thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for experienced Medical Assistants to join the float team for primary care offices associated with one of Rochesters most prestigious teaching hospitals. If variety is the spice of life, this role will keep your career flavorful!

As a Float Medical Assistant, youll enjoy the satisfaction of working with new teams, in diverse settings and managing a wide range of tasks from clinical to clerical. These Openings Are:

• Full-Time
• Monday - Friday
• 40 hours guaranteed
• Scheduled between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Part-Time

• Monday - Friday

• 24-32 hours per week with set schedule

• Scheduled between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

• Compensation: $21.00/hr

Responsibilities Include:

• Communicate effectively through electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Establish and maintain professional interpersonal interactions with patients, families, physicians, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Escort patients to rooms.
• Obtain and record vital signs.
• Set up for anticipated provider procedures and examinations.
• Perform EKG's.
• Perform screenings and tests per provider direction.
• Perform Point of Care Testing

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience in customer focused/service setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 6 months of recent experience working in a medical facility as a Medical Assistant, Ambulatory Tech, PCT, or CNA.
• CPR certification
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, experience in a private medical office or urgent care setting is preferred.
• Valid Drivers License and own reliable transportation.
