If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you!ABOUT THE ROLEAt Jaxen Grey, the Assistant Store Manager plays a key role in supporting the Store Manager and ensuring the day-to‑day success of store operations. This position helps lead the store team, drives sales and service standards, and ensures operational excellence across the sales floor and back‑of‑house. The Assistant Store Manager brings the Jaxen Grey mission, culture, and customer experience to life through strong leadership, communication, and execution.This is a full‑time, Supervisor‑Level role reporting to the Store Manager, with responsibility for people leadership, performance management, and operational execution.Support the Store Manager in leading all store employees, including Sales Stylists, Inventory, and Store Support rolesCoach, train, and develop team members to achieve sales, service, and customer experience goalsManage day‑to‑day employee performance, including providing feedback and supporting corrective action when neededAddress employee concerns and performance issues with timely, constructive feedback, partnering with the Store Manager as neededAssist with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing levelsLead the store team on the sales floor, modeling exceptional service and selling behaviorsOversee store operations, including opening and closing procedures, shipping and receiving, alterations, special orders, supplies, and cleanliness standardsPartner with inventory leadership to ensure inventory accuracy, organization, and operational efficiencySupport visual merchandising execution and ensure brand standards are maintained throughout the storeMonitor store performance and contribute to action plans that drive resultsAct as Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of the Store ManagerAt least 1 year of retail management or supervisory experienceExperience with retail operations, sales leadership, and merchandising executionStrong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a teamAbility to balance operational execution with customer experience prioritiesAbility to meet individual sales expectations (approximately $30,000 per month, ATV $200, UPT 2.0) while supporting overall store performanceStrong communication, organization, and time‑management skillsComfort using technology, including Point of Sale systems and Microsoft 365Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsSCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY...This is a full‑time position requiring a minimum of 36 hours per weekMust be able to work a retail schedule based on business needs, including weekends, holidays, and peak volume periodsWE OFFER...Competitive starting wage: $23.92/hourMonthly bonus opportunities based on store performanceMedical, dental, and vision insurance plansFlexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) plansPersonal Time Off (PTO): Begins accruing at 23 days per year, based on a full year of full‑time employment30% employee discount on merchandise at Jaxen Grey and EvereveOngoing opportunities for internal advancement and professional growthThis job posting outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications for the role.
