*Clinical Pediatric Psychologist: Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities in Top Children's Hospital

The Division of Developmental Medicine at Indiana University Health is recruiting a clinical full-time (non-tenure track) fellowship-trained clinical pediatric psychologist to join a vibrant and innovative group of multidisciplinary faculty committed to improving neurodevelopmental care. The Division is a well-established interdisciplinary group of Physicians, Advance Practice Clinicians, Psychologists, Social Workers, Genetic Counselors, and Dieticians who provide specialized care for people with developmental and genetic conditions and behavioral concerns from infancy through the transition to adulthood. Clinical services include medical evaluation and care management recommendations, psychological testing and consultation, evidenced based behavioral interventions (Early Start Denver Model, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, and Perinatal Mental Health), feeding and growth evaluation, genetic testing and counseling. Clinical innovation (including development and implementation of novel diagnostic models), education, and scholarship are highly valued in the Division. Our division boasts nationally-recognized training programs, including Indiana’s Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program as well as developmental behavioral pediatrics and neurodevelopmental disabilities training programs.

Position Highlights

• Outpatient clinic located at the Riley Children's Pediatric Care Center in Indianapolis, IN, 100% outpatient with opportunity to explore expanding both outpatient and hospital-based neurodevelopmental services. Monday - Friday, no weekends or night call

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical psychology (PhD or PsyD) with specialization in pediatric  psychology preferably pediatric psychology
• Preferred background and training in care of children with disabilities/special health care needs including clinical, pediatric, school or neuropsychology 
• Preferred experience with diagnostic assessment of conditions affecting learning and behavior and familiarity with neurodevelopmental patient populations (e.g., ADHD, learning and intellectual disabilities, autism) and with trauma and other psychiatric presentations
