Shift Details:

• 
  6am - 4pm (30 min break) for 3 days
  
• 
  Float Day 6:30am - 3:30pm or 12p-9:30p (30 min break) or Overnight
  
• 
  Total 37.5 hours
  

CT Tech Duties & Responsibilities:

• 
  Performs diagnostic radiography and CT procedures using appropriate equipment, protocols, and techniques.
  
• 
  Prepares, positions, and educates patients while ensuring their comfort, safety, and cooperation.
  
• 
  Evaluates images for technical quality, proper positioning, and accurate patient identification.
  
• 
  Performs venipuncture and prepares/administers contrast media and medications as permitted by policy and regulations.
  
• 
  Assists with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional procedures while maintaining aseptic techniques.
  
• 
  Performs CT studies of the head, spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis and follows safe contrast usage practices.
  
• 
  Maintains required certifications and training, follows hospital policies and safety standards, floats to qualified departments as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• 
  Current, valid, and unrestricted NY  license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
  
• 
  Minimum of one (1) year related work experience as CT Tech within the last 3 years.
  
• 
  Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology.
  
• 
  ARRT certification/registration
  
• 
  Current BLS/CPR certification
  
• 
  Additional certifications may be required
  
• 
  Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
  
• 
  Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
